Parco1923 was born in the Europe’s oldest national parks, located in the regions of Abruzzo, Lazio, and Molise. It was here, amid wild terrain and rare flora, that entrepreneur Ugo Morosi and PR consultant Paride Vitale created a fragrance house rooted in authentic nature. Together with the park’s botanists, they mapped native plant species, many of which cannot be cultivated but are only found in the wild. From this work emerged scents that do not replicate smells, but evoke a sense of presence.
Each fragrance is a careful conversation with the forest. Take the Venus slipper orchid: scentless, yet transformed into an accord that captures its silent beauty. The brand’s symbol — the Marsican brown bear — is a guardian, a quiet protector of the wilderness. Stylistically, Parco1923 calls itself “the address of nature”: not a retreat, but a return to oneself, through resin, bark, and stone.
Bottles are crafted using local pietra gentile stone and beechwood. Heavy in the hand, they feel like holding a fragment of the mountains. A portion of proceeds goes toward protecting the park, a gesture of gratitude to the land that inspires.
This is how one listens to the landscape again.
