Founded in 1975 by Yuri Gutsatz, a master perfumer and true pioneer, Le Jardin Retrouvé was all about breaking free from the commercial perfume industry. Yuri believed in authentic perfumery, where the scent tells a story and is considered a piece of art. He created “niche fragrances” before they became a trend.
In 2017, the brand was lovingly revived by Yuri’s son, Michel, and his artist wife, Clara Feder. Their mission? To preserve Yuri’s original formulas and vision while adding a modern, eco-friendly twist. This is truly sustainable luxury that keeps using its historic suppliers, respects its traditional methods, and makes sure every detail stays true to the family’s roots.
Yuri’s legacy is enormous. Since 1935, he has created countless formulas and left behind thousands of lab tests. He was also vice president of the Société Française des Parfumeurs and helped found the Osmothèque, the world’s largest scent archive, a time capsule for rare perfumes.
Le Jardin Retrouvé’s goal today is to bring real moments of wellbeing through their artisan French perfumes. These aren’t just pretty smells — each bottle is like a mini escape, a quiet moment just for you.
The fragrances are mostly crafted by two in-house perfumers: Yuri Gutsatz and Maxence Moutte, who connect tradition and innovation, creating niche fragrances that are both personal and poetic.
For anyone tired of generic scents and looking for something more soulful, Le Jardin Retrouvé offers an alternative that feels intimate and real. It’ll help you to find joy in simple rituals and experience authentic French craftsmanship.
Whether you’re a fragrance lover or just starting your scent journey, these artisan perfumes invite you to slow down and enjoy a little garden moment, wherever you are.
If you’re searching for sustainable luxury, authentic perfumery in Luxembourg, and a touch of poetry in your everyday life, Le Jardin Retrouvé in our niche boutique is the perfect secret garden waiting for you to explore.
