In fragrance, silence speaks. Not emptiness, but the depth that echoes after experience.
Christele Jacquemin is a French perfumer, photographer, and traveler who turned personal transformation into a language of scent. After more than 20 years in the corporate world, she left behind the office noise for the quiet of her studio in Avignon. It was there, in 2019, that her brand was born, one that listens rather than shouts, attuned to the world and the self.
Her journey began with a camera. Each fragrance is inspired by a photograph taken during her travels. Taipei, the Japanese Alps, the streets of Catalonia, not geography, but emotion. These impressions evolve into compositions shaped by her training at Cinquième Sens. The results are genderless, timeless perfumes free from commercial sparkle. They’ve been recognized not by loud campaigns, but by inclusion for example on the shortlist for the Art & Olfaction Awards.
Jacquemin works with a high percentage of natural ingredients, not as a trend, but as an ethic. Her scents feel like coming home after a long road: weary, warm, and real. No slogans, just scents that whisper.
Sometimes, a fragrance is nothing more than a photograph suspended in air.
