Les Indémodables – The Timeless is a perfume collection created by its founder, Valérie Pulverail, in response to a clear gap in the fragrance world: scents that feel truly unique, high-quality, and built to last beyond trends. Behind the brand is L’Atelier Français des Matières (AFDM), a fully independent fragrance lab where everything happens in-house—from growing the plants to bottling the final perfume. AFDM even creates its own exclusive natural ingredients that you can’t buy anywhere else; they exist only in Les Indémodables perfumes and in the custom scents they craft for select clients.

Since 2018, the perfumes have been created by Antoine Lie, a legendary perfumer known for pushing boundaries in the world of alternative fragrance. Instead of following trends, the brand revisits classic fragrance families. It rebuilds them with the most beautiful raw materials—resulting in scents that feel forever modern, not tied to any era.
AFDM also stands out for its radical transparency. Through their Charter of Excellence, they actually share the percentage of precious ingredients used in each formula—something almost no one else in the industry does.
